Getting Started
Visit myvibes.lovecrave.com, where you can personalize your own vibration patterns on your Duet Pro. The current vibes on your vibrator are set to default factory settings. Before customizing your vibration patterns, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the preset patterns so you know the baseline for adjusting your settings.
Maybe the lowest setting is still too strong? Or the pulse pattern isn’t strong enough? Or maybe you don’t even like wave? With MyVibes, you can lower the lowest setting, increase the power, and you can remove the wave pattern altogether. Keep only the patterns you want and change as often as you like.
Tip: When you are first learning to program your vibe, we recommend changing only one or two factors; that way, you can easily compare and gauge the programmer's sensitivity.
Think of your Duet Pro as a USB thumb drive with the file setting the vibes on your Duet PRO. Customizing your vibes requires a computer with a USB port (if you have a newer computer, you may need an adapter). It is not compatible with any tablet or mobile device.
How do I use the control panel to customize my vibes?
1. There are 4 pattern types: constant, alternating fingers, pulse, and wave. Use the tabs on the left to navigate through the patterns.
2. Each pattern type has 4 levels that you can program, and each level is represented by a unique color. Drag the sliders to set each level to your desired power and speed: dragging to the right increases the setting, while dragging it to the left decreases it.
TIP: Power changes the strength of vibration, while speed changes how fast or slow a pattern is played.
3. Use the “enable pattern” toggle switch to enable or disable that particular pattern. If the pattern is disabled, it will be turned off and unavailable when using your duet PRO. This is how you can simplify your patterns and only keep the ones you like.
4. Click “default pattern” to reset all levels within the pattern back to the factory default settings.
5. Use the “save” button to save after customizing each pattern, or click the Cancel button to return to your previous settings.
6. When you are finished customizing each pattern, click “download vibes” to download your personalized patterns file and follow the instructions for loading this file to your vibe.
How do I load patterns onto my vibe?
1. After you have saved your desired patterns, click the pink “download vibes” button in the lower left corner of the screen. A file named VIBES.pat will download to your computer. If you have previously downloaded a vibes file, the new file may be called VIBES(1).pat, VIBES(2).pat, etc.
IMPORTANT: In order for your VIBES.pat to work on your Duet Pro it MUST be named “VIBES.pat”. It cannot be called VIBES(1).pat or any other name/extension file format. If you had previously downloaded files and your file name is incorrect, rename it to VIBES.pat once it is on the drive.
2. Plug the Duet PRO into your computer's USB port.
3. Press the center (o) button on your Duet PRO to access your vibe's storage drive.
4. Open the USB drive using File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).
5. Delete the existing file named VIBES.pat from your CRAVE drive -- this is the currently loaded pattern on your Duet PRO.
6. Load your newly downloaded VIBES.pat file onto the CRAVE drive from your computer.
NOTE: You cannot have more than one vibes file on the drive at a time and your file MUST be called VIBES.pat. It cannot be called VIBES(1).pat or any other name/extension file format. If you had previously downloaded files and your file name is incorrect, rename it to VIBES.pat once it is on the drive.
7. Safely eject your CRAVE drive. Your new patterns are now loaded to your Duet PRO and are ready to use.
How do I restore the default vibration patterns?
To reset your Duet PRO back to the default settings, click on the "default pattern" button, then click “Save”. This will only reset the levels for the particular pattern that you are adjusting. If you want all patterns to return to the factory defaults, you will need to repeat this for each pattern type. Once you are finished, download the new vibes.pat file and place it in the Crave drive, as you would for any other vibes file.
My Duet Pro isn't working after I customized my vibes. Did I customize my vibes incorrectly?
If your customized vibes aren’t working, you may have incorrectly loaded your vibes file. If something went wrong, the button on your Duet Pro will light up and remain solid without vibration when you turn it on. This indicates the file you have loaded will not work: either it isn’t the right file type, it has the wrong name, or you have multiple files loaded at the same time.
Don’t worry! Your Duet Pro will still work, but it will be programmed to factory-default patterns. Press the center button once more to continue using it in this setting, or restart the customization process for your vibes.
I am concerned about my privacy. Is the MyVibes site anonymous?
The MyVibes site is completely anonymous, as are your vibes and serial numbers. We do not ask for any personal information on the site, and we do not store or tie your serial number to any personal information. The only information linked to your serial number is your last saved vibration pattern.
