Having trouble? Try this quick start guide to get your Vesper running.
This article applies to Vesper, Vesper 2, and Vesper Mini.
1. Check the charging
Remove the end cap to reveal the charging unit. Plug it into a USB-A port. You should see a dim, flashing light during charging and a solidly lit light when fully charged.
If you don't see a light, try turning your product over. This product can fit into a USB-A port facing either direction, but it will charge only in one direction. There should be a light under the power button when it is plugged in correctly.
If there is still no light, try another USB port on a different device/charging adapter.
2. Charge the product for 24 hours
When a rechargeable battery sits unused for an extended period, it can slowly lose charge and may take longer than normal to recharge. It can also lose its capacity entirely, so recharge your products consistently.
3. Re-assembled the product
Unplug the product and reattach the cap to ensure waterproofing.
If your cap tether broke, your product will still function as normal. As long as the cap is on when in use, it will still be waterproof.
4. Turn on your product
Press the power button. You can cycle through patterns by clicking the center (o) button, and adjust speed with the (+) and (-) buttons. Press and hold (o) to turn off.
5. Check for Travel Mode
Press the (o) button to turn it on, then press and hold for a slow count to ten. The unit should stop, then pulse once. You are now in Travel Mode. Press and hold again to return to normal function.
Tip: Avoid silicone lube
Liquid silicone can damage the silicone cap, button, and internal parts that make your product waterproof. Sometimes liquid silicone can show up in liquid hand soaps or skincare products. Common silicone ingredients might be listed on the label as cyclomethicone or dimethicone.
